Ghume (UY)

Guzmán Nuñez aka Ghume, born in the city of Mercedes, Soriano, Uruguay. Since he was a child, he felt great attraction for the electronic sounds that at that time he heard from his older brother Germán. His first influences were the DJs Fedde Le Grand, Supermode, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Tiesto, among others. At the age of 14, after being instructed by the Djs Juan Carlos Mañan, Ruben Martinez and his brother, he made his first presentations at parties, discs and radios in his city: Milenio, La gran Manzana 20, Bahrein, Power Boat, The compass. Over time, he got to know various sub-genres of House and related artists, feeling extremely identified with the most melodic and hypnotic genres, such as Progressive House, Deep House, Melodic House & Techno. Some of his references are Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge, Kevin Di Serna, Fernanado Ferreyra, among others.

 Currently based in Montevideo, it is in full growth. He got his residency at Signal.uy after being part of the brand's filming team and carries out his monthly podcast "Natural Selection", also performing at parties throughout the country. His debut as a producer is through the Serbian label RYNTH, with his EP "La Piedra Mamut"
