Tony Smooth (USA)

Tony Smooth began his DJ career in 1999. Growing up in Baltimore (USA), he got his first taste of Electronic Dance Music by listening to DJ's like Bad Boy Bill and Richard Vision. In 1998 he visited an after hours nightclub that played strictly Acid House and Tribal House, from that point on he was hooked and discovered his passion for music. Tony has been a part of the Worldwide Electronic Music Dance scene for over 2 decades having played at events in cities like Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Cleveland, Chicago, Boston, Miami, Richmond, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, while also traveling abroad with shows in Canada, Israel, Mexico, Italy, and Puerto Rico. Tony has also been invited to share his sound at festivals like The Manifestival in Southern California, Nightmare Festival and the Winter Music Conference where he has performed every year since 2007. Tony has been involved with many dance music radio shows like KXLU 88.9FM Los Angeles, Bloradio, Radio 7 in Sweden and others. His weekly show "Different Shades" was broadcasted on Bloradio, Data Transmissions Radio and Club Radio EDM. In late 2007 Tony got the music production itch and has been remixing, producing, and editing ever since. After many years of unreleased edits, bootlegs and remixes, his first original production with DJ/Producer Patrick Khach was released in 2012. Tony has also collaborated with other artists and producers releasing tracks on System Recordings, On Work Recordings, Poolside Recordings, and LA House Records. Over the years Tony has shared the stage with international heavy hitters like Sander Kleinenberg, Max Graham, Serge Devant, Lange, Christopher Lawrence, Yahel, Paul Oakenfold, Danny Howells, Deep Dish, Sasha, Way Out West, Matt Darey, Rodriguez Jr, John Digweed, , Adam Beyer, Victor Calderone, Martin Landsky, Cevin Fisher and many others. He has played and continues to do so in some of the biggest venues including Exchange(LA), Sound(LA) Playhouse (LA), Avalon (LA), Fur (DC), Lima (DC), Mosaic (Baltimore), Vanguard (LA), The Cellar (San Francisco), Boiler Room (Boston), Soundbar (Chicago), Smilanski (Israel), OPM (New York), Cielo(New York), Roxy (Philadelphia), Club Brava (Puerto Rico), Ultra Lounge (Mexico) and many other venues around the world. Tony Smooth continuous to evolve his unique sound but has always stayed true to his House music roots. The future looks bright for Tony Smooth, he continues to rock the dance floors the world over and his name will be synonymous with dance music for years to come.
